Established in 1996, Hedon Museum is a small independent museum staffed entirely by volunteers.
The Museum collects, preserves and displays documents and artefacts relating to the civic, trades, social and domestic life of Hedon and the surrounding area of South Holderness.
The Hedon Room displays aspects of the history of the town and the Small Room contains themed exhibitions which change twice per year. The Upstairs Gallery, however, has frequently changing displays including photographs, paintings, crafts and local artefacts.
There is a small reference library of local and general interest.
For those interested in researching family history there are census returns on cdrom and internet access is available.
The museum hosts its own shop and tea & coffee are served in the Upstairs Gallery.
