The Hedon Museum has a collection of artefacts, memorabilia, maps, photographs, newscuttings etc relating to Hedon and Holderness. Items of note include the Pingsdorf Pot (12th Century) recovered during excavations in Baxtergate, Hedon; a medieval silver gilt key found near Hedon and identified by the British Museum as Treasure Trove; five silver groats minted during the reign of Mary Tudor 1553-1558 and uncovered on farmland near Paull in 2004. The Museum also holds the records of the Hedon Haven Commissioners 1774-1974 and the regalia of the Keyingham branch of the Ancient Order of Forresters Friendly Society.
